From inflated attendance numbers to hollow philanthropic speeches, it seems like all WWE's corporate officers do is stretch the truth through painted smiles. It's symptomatic of most conglomerates, and WWE is hardly an exception. Fans seem to know their WWE history better than they do, and openly scream about having their intelligence insulted. Be honest for a change, that's the rallying cry.

When Stephanie donned her favorite Chyna cosplay and addressed the crowd before the main event, calling the fans 'sheep' with 'pathetic lives', claiming to 'own' said fans, it was a refreshing moment of clarity from an executive not always prone to being that honest. If anything, we as WWE's enablers need to be told more often what our role is in perpetuating their lack of imagination that somehow remains profitable. Last night was a good first step.
