10 Things WWE Don't Want You To Know About Bullet Club
6. Clubbed To Death
They'll always deny it of course, but WWE are watching. These are strange and wonderful times for the wrestling business at large, and whilst Vince McMahon will persist with the narrative that they're part of an entirely different industry, the raft of signees to NXT and the company's main roster in recent years suggest that the company are begrudgingly paying attention to the world they'll never escape from.
Shortly after his 2016 re-debut, Luke Gallows joked that nobody must inform Vince he was ever Festus, lest he force the gimmick back upon him or fire him once more. It was a good-natured crack at the Chairman's facade, but possibly doesn't step too far from McMahon's actual awareness of Gallows' past-lives under his watch.
Unfortunately, this hasn't resulted in a particularly prosperous time for Gallows nor good brother Karl Anderson. They are far from their New Japan peak, only even coming close during a hamfisted 'Club' formation with AJ Styles that has since teased stretching to include a freewheeling Finn Bálor. WWE may have the necessary talent between the ropes, but the creative dearth may have squandered an otherwise prosperous reunion.
