10 Things WWE Failed To Learn From WCW's Demise

1. People Tire Of Routine, Regardless Of How Well It's Done

Today, WWE have what is largely a winning formula, that much cannot be denied. This article is not all about making it seem like the company has nothing going for it, or is in danger of going the same way as WCW, because let's be honest, that's pretty ridiculous. No, WWE are safe, and still raking in millions, but they still have a responsibility to learn from the past. That's something WCW certainly didn't do, repeatedly banking on the nWo to haul them out of a jam, never realising that the once-supremely over faction was becoming part of the problem. Things were stale, and the WWE formula is pretty mundane at times today. Authority figures and match-makers rule the day in the company, which is a tired concept - wouldn't it be nice if matches could be born out of pure competitive spirit, rather than because Triple H or Stephanie McMahon say so? There needs to be a bit of a shake up in WWE, making the entire product feel much more exciting across the board. It's clear that fans are a little bored of the current template for shows, so why not mix things up and try to do something which could reignite interest?
