Despite her injuries, Lynch couldn't stay away from the wrestling world. In 2011, she returned to SHIMMER as a manager, leading the mother-daughter tag team of Saraya and Britani Knight to the ring. Lynch was an exuberant, irreverent personality, and she and Britani would often spend their entrances taunting the crowd, dancing badly and generally making fools of themselves while Saraya (the cold-blooded matron of the group, who would go on to become SHIMMER Champion after her daughter's departure) steadfastly ignored them. Of course, Britani Knight would soon know far greater success as Paige, the Anti-Diva of NXT who won the Diva's Championship in her first match on the main roster. Should Lynch likewise achieve success on Raw and Smackdown, and given WWE's recent willingness to acknowledge the pre-WWE associations of wrestlers, the history between she and Paige could make for a compelling feud.
