That opportunity on Tough Enough was another false dawn for her. Despite finishing in fourth place (for the female group) in 2015, Green wasn't given a full-time role after the show wrapped by WWE. Still, working it allowed her to make some vital contacts that'd prove meaningful down the road.

The most prominent to her was Billy Gunn.

In the Afterbuzz TV interview, Chelsea said the former D-Generation X member constantly gave her sound advice. The pair became so tight that Green even became friendly with Billy's family, and she still considers the Gunn's good pals to this day. He's someone she can rely on when she feels a little lost.

On top of Gunn's help, Green also sat under Gail Kim's learning tree in Impact. She proved to be a strong mentor figure to Chelsea during her two years in TNA, and Green claims Kim's advice was invaluable in taking her to the next level.
