5. James Storm's Last Gimmick In TNA Involved Him Basically Being A Bray Wyatt Knockoff
In June 2014, a despondent in character James Storm began to verbally berate Sanada, the student of the legendary Great Muta. He then assaulted Muta, which set into motion Sanada turning heel, with the pair then going after numerous TNA roster members to join their "Revolution"stable, finally getting Manik on board, too. Only in TNA would a giant redneck man find two smaller men to make him more menacing, as opposed to WWE where Sanada and Manik-style followers are played in the Wyatt Family by giant men like Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman. TNA's habit of getting their performers to poorly re-hash WWE storylines has been problematic for quite some time. However, what could've been notable to WWE is how agreeable Storm was to such a bad gimmick, as a guy who can work and likely be a mid-card cog and is willing to do anything make a company's idea work is just the kind of employee Vince McMahon and Triple H likely want for the future.
