10. He Speaks Perfect English
One thing frequently levelled against international wrestlers when they make it to WWE, is that their failure to speak good English holds them back. Ultimo Dragon, Taka Michinoku and The Great Sasuke were undeniably talented performers in the ring, but in big-time American wrestling, you need promo skills to succeed, too. Liger, not known for his promo ability, does nonetheless speak absolutely perfect English. Fans and wrestlers who have conversed with Liger attest that his English is great and that he has a surprisingly funny dry wit. He no doubt picked up the language while touring Britain for All Star Wrestling in the mid-to-late 1980s. As 'Flying' Fuji Yamada, an unmasked Liger had some great matches with British great Mark 'Rollerball' Rocco. This ability to communicate in English has no doubt served Liger well in the ring, as he is often booked against English-speaking opponents in New Japan and elsewhere. Should there be any miscommunication between Breeze and Liger in NXT, the masked ace should easily be able to talk it over with his less experienced foe.
