10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Scarlett Bordeaux

9. She Has A Performance Background

Scarlett’s parents didn’t put her in the choir for social reasons. Okay, making friends might have had something to do with it, but encouraging the youngster sing was more to do with a natural talent than hopes of chums and companions. Her skills were nurtured from a young age, and she soon found herself majoring in musical theatre at college.

All of which led her to training as a mezzo-soprano at a noted conservatory, honing raw talent into undeniable skill. Having the ability of a mezzo-soprano is no joke, it requires immense discipline and vocal dexterity, and no opera is complete without the fluidity and skeletal charms of the mezzo-soprano. Sure, it gets relegated to the unholy trinity of ‘witches, bitches and britches’ more often than not, but what is an opera without one of those three?

More importantly, Scarlett’s time at the conservatory taught her hugely valuable lessons when it came to performance. She has said on a number of occasions that performing is in her blood, being in front of a crowd is something she was born to do, and her history backs this up. Getting from the opera to pro wrestling is another thing.
