10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Tyler Breeze

2. He Studied Gorgeous George, Shawn Michaels, Buddy Rogers & Bret Hart

It's important for wrestlers to learn from things from the past because it will give them a good idea of what somebody did that worked and what somebody else may have done that didn't work. Breeze was smart enough to study some of the best wrestlers ever:
I started watching a lot of old Gorgeous George stuff which was remarkable. It was awesome. It was really ahead of its time. And I took a lot of that and just tested it out. And I took some Buddy Rogers and then I added in some Shawn Michaels. I added in some Bret Hart. It was bits and pieces from a lot of different stuff that came into what the character is now.
When it comes to having style and being flamboyant, there's nobody better to watch than Gorgeous George. He was so good at what he did that even Muhammad Ali praised him for how great he was and Ali is arguably the most charismatic athlete ever. Shawn Michaels first became a known commodity as singles heel wrestler The Heartbreak Kid in the early 1990s because of his status as something of a ladies man. Sensational Sherri brought a mirror out during his entrances, so that's where Breeze likely got that selfie mirror idea. Michaels is certainly not a bad guy to study. The fact that Breeze is watching these guys shows how dedicated he is to making this gimmick work and it shows in his performances.
