7. Her TNA Run

WWE have never directly acknowledged TNA's existence. Vince McMahon & co. have no-sold their closest North American rivals since their 2002 formation, which is odd, given that Impact created some of WWE's biggest stars. Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode: each is a TNA legend, but their currently employer's insistence on ignoring Impact obscures much of their respective legacies.

Zelina Vega suffers from the same problem, though she obviously was big a deal as the aforementioned trio. Still, TNA was the first major promotion to give her a chance. Vega signed with them after being discovered by Tommy Dreamer in 2011, and quickly became a significant figure in the Knockouts division. Wrestling as Rosita, she teamed with fellow hispanic stars Hernandez, Anarquia, and Sarita as Mexican America, and became a Knockouts Tag Team Champion that March.

Her run lasted until her contract expired in January 2013, though she returned for a one-off match with Angelina Love two years later. Establishing a relationship with Sarita was the most significant part of her run, as she'd eventually become Vega's trainer at the WWE Performance Center after signing.
