Despite the company's many, many flaws, reaching WWE remains the end goal for most professional wrestlers, and Vega is no different. She has spent the bulk of her career shooting for a contract with the sport's biggest promotion, and she got there quicker than most, earning her first WWE deal seven years after debuting in the business.

Ultimately, Vega's biggest goal is to empower those in similar situations to her. Standing at just 4'11", she has been battling size and gender-related preconceptions from the day she first revealed her aspirations to friends and family, as discussed in her Black Hollywood Live interview:-

“I have a double whammy, I’m a woman and I’m small. I have both working against me in a way, so for people to say ‘I like her because she’s like me’ or ‘that’s cool that somebody so little can do that’, I’m hoping to break that mould and give women’s wrestling a different look."

While still early in her WWE run, Vega is already setting a great example to follow. Her union with Andrade Almas has turned the once-struggling grappler's career around, and it's hard to imagine him ever becoming NXT Champion without her, such is Zelina's importance to his act.
