10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Zelina Vega

4. Forays Into Acting

She's no Hollywood star, but like many of her peers, Zelina Vega has dabbled with acting several times throughout her career.

Taking inspiration from the greatest mainstream crossover star in wrestling history, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, her first real acting job came in 2012, when she played a minor role in Dorothy And The Witches Of Oz. Similar spots in low-level horror films like Chilling Visions 5: Senses Of Fear and Army Of The Demand followed, with Zelina's last release coming in 2015, when she was involved in a film titled Hope Bridge.

Her most significant role is still to come. Vega will play AJ Lee in Fighting With My Family, the upcoming film focused on the recently returned Paige's wrestling upbringing. It won't be a major role, but as Lee was one of Paige's biggest early-career rivals, we can expect Vega to feature prominently in at least a handful of scenes.

Fighting For My Family will come out sometime in 2018, though we're still awaiting a specific release date. Filming is already complete, and Vega starred in a post-Raw scene earlier this year, with her and actress Florence Pugh recreating Paige's famous WWE debut before a live audience.
