10 Things WWE Got Horribly Wrong In 2015

5. The Wyatt Family

I have written about the Wyatt Family extensively on this site, and it is a constant source of frustration as a viewer. When they arrived on the scene in 2013 they were a genuine breath of fresh air, a true sinister presence in a world of tough guys and generic characters. Bray's promos were unique and there was a genuine sense of unpredictability about them 2015 was a poor year for the Wyatts. After going their separate ways late in 2014, Harper and Rowan milled around doing not much whilst Bray gave the same promo, week after week. He would go on to face Undertaker at WrestleMania, and whilst it would be a stretch to say he should win such a match it should still have acted as a launching pad for what came next. As it was, Bray had a nothing feud with Ryback followed by reuniting with Harper and Rowan. The trio were feud to Roman Reigns over the summer, before being made to look completely impotent in the name of a nostalgia trip with the Brothers of Destruction. From being a unique act on a stale card, 2015 has seen the Wyatts reduced to impotency. The group may be beyond saving at this point.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
