10 Things WWE Got Horribly Wrong In 2015

6. Putting Kane In Main Events In 2015

The Kane character made his debut in WWE way back in 1997. Ever since then, Kane has been a staple of the upper midcard scene in the company, providing a credible opponent for potential main event stars. Since aligning with the Authority in late 2013 he hasn't featured much in the ring, acting more as a heel authority figure. In truth, Kane hasn't provided much of a threat as an active wrestler since his championship run in the summer of 2010. Why, why, why oh why then, was he one half of the main championship feud in 2015? His constant bickering with Seth Rollins led to a championship match between the two. The entire thing dragged and dragged. It is a sign of creative bankruptcy that in 2015 WWE went back to the Kane well once again. Add this to his dominant performance in the Royal Rumble 18 years after his debut and it is little wonder the company is struggling to create new stars.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
