10 Things WWE Got Horribly Wrong In 2016
10. The Club
It didn’t take long for huge news to break in 2016, as within a week four of the top names in NJPW left the company. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows may not have come with the excitement of Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles, but the duo promised to be a dominant and credible force in the WWE tag team division.
Things started off okay, but Gallows & Anderson have since found themselves the main victims of a mind-numbingly frustrating road to record-breaking for The New Day. Despite the claims of the Raw announce team, a lot of the threat has gone from The Club.
You could argue that they have suffered more than many because of the injury incurred by Finn Bálor, but this doesn’t tell the whole story. The duo have been involved in some of the worst segments on WWE TV all year, most memorably (unfortunately) the ‘Old Day’ segment which probably tops the lot.
Maybe things will improve once The New Day breaks Demolition’s record and everyone can move on. For Gallows & Anderson, things must.
