10 Things WWE Got Right At Hell In A Cell 2017
10. Opening The Show With The New Day
Bookending the show with the two eponymous cage matches made all the sense in the world, even if it did set the bar high for all of the non-stipulation matches in between. The New Day and The Usos were always going to be the likely choice for best match of the night, and the two dominant tag teams did not disappoint. This was the logical option for opening the main card.
The New Day juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down. When the trio first appeared on WWE TV back in November 2014, you would have been given long odds on them still being a major factor three years later. Kingston, Woods, and E. have defied all the doubters however, and the power of positivity is stronger than it has ever been.
No act in WWE is better at getting a crowd on its feet than the longest-reigning tag team champions in company history. Starting pay-per-views with the ecstatic tones of former Intercontinental Champion Big E. is a guaranteed win.
