8. Blue Pants!

Getting Blue Pants involved as The Vaudevillains’s answer to Blake & Murphy’s Alexa Bliss was an obvious call that many saw coming. That doesn’t mean to say that it didn’t work and didn't make sense, though.

It made perfect sense in how it gave further spotlight to the cult-like popularity of Blue Pants and also served as a way to get the NXT Tag Team Titles on to Simon Gotch and Aiden English.

In fact, the Blue Pants and Bliss confrontation had echoes of ECW battles of yesteryear. All that was missing was Joey Styles screaming “Catfight!” as the two girls went at it.

Considering she’s essentially a barely-used enhancement talent who wasn’t even under contract initially, it’s impressive to see how popular Blue Pants has become. Going forward, it’ll be great to hopefully see her by the side of the new Tag Champs as a more permanent fixture on NXT.
