10 Things WWE Got Wrong At Hell In A Cell 2014

10. Michael Cole Rubbing It In To The PPV Buyers AGAIN

Two attributes that you can use to always describe the WWE Universe is passionate and loyal. They will spend their hard earned money in support of the product in many ways including buy a ticket to the live events, spending money on the endless amount of merchandise that the WWE sells, and pay per views. That last item is the key to what was wrong with Hell In A Cell last night. We get it, the WWE Network is $9.99. The WWE Universe chants along to anything, so of course they'll yell $9.99 when given the chance, but the majority of fans have grown tired of the bit, especially when we hear it four to five times a week on various WWE programming. If you have the WWE Network, great! It's an amazing network with a lot of content, but not everyone can get it or has the tools necessary to run it well. For those people, pay per view is their only legal option to watch Hell In A Cell last night. For a few months now Michael Cole has been scolding or calling fans who order the event on pay per view stupid for paying $54.95 instead of $9.99. For one, it's counterproductive as one would assume most viewers of the event are watching it through the WWE Network. Telling the minority that are not that they're dumb just doesn't make sense and it is insulting the fans at the same time. We all know by now that the Network exists, so the constant pushing of it eight months after it's inception is just turning people off.
