10 Things WWE Has Forgotten How To Do

7. Write Meaningful Follow-Up On Turns

The Big Show The Bar

Not only was Big Show joining Sheamus and Cesaro on SmackDown 1000 turn #916,745,078 for the man, it's already totally irrelevant too. Even though he only linked up with The Bar in October, Show was riding solo again by late-November. We'd love to know what the bloody point of that whole exercise was.

Maybe WWE are trying to hit one billion turns for Show or something.

His latest switch revealed a huge problem: turns are an aspect of programming this current creative team find extremely difficult. The first chapter is usually alright, but then things turn (ahem) sour when they're tasked with penning some follow-up. The same could be said of recent diversions for the likes of Braun Strowman and Nia Jax in 2018.

Braun leading the renegade duo of Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler was never fully developed, and neither was Nia's decision to turn her back on inspiring young women just so she could paste jobbers and send a message to Ronda Rousey. It's clumsy booking at best and lacks any sort of long-term planning.
