10 Things WWE Messed Up At WrestleMania 32
2. Undertaker/Shane McMahon Should Have Been The Main Event
Without a doubt, the Hell in a Cell match was the best of the night. It was pretty much the only contest that was suitably hyped for a WrestleMania event, afterall.
Even without a title at stake, this was the marquee match of WrestleMania 32. The future direction of the company and The Undertaker's 'Mania future were both on the line, creating a high-stakes environment. Not that any of that was regularly mentioned throughout the match.
The positioning of the Taker-Shane match created a sense of disjointedness for viewers. The show peaked with this match, then was followed by a relatively dull Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and The Rock's segment. By the time the main event came around, this incredible match was long forgotten.
Instead of ending the show on the high The Phenom and Shane-O-Mac created, WrestleMania 32 closed with a capacity crowd combining to create a chorus of boos.
