10 Things WWE Must Do At Starrcade 2017

2. Bring Back Jim Ross On Commentary

Hands up who wants to hear Michael Cole or Tom Phillips welcome the world to Starrcade? We didn't think so, because this is the kind of show that desperately needs a familiar voice to older fans. The advanced age of Bob Caudle perhaps makes that one impossible, but WWE should look no further than Jim Ross.

JR is back in the WWE groove doing the Mae Young Classic tournament on the Network, so he's the best choice for Starrcade. Let Ross shed the cowboy hat, dress him up in a fancy suit and allow him the chance to introduce the broadcast from ringside with a mic in hand. If WWE want to get really fancy, then bring Tony Schiavone along for the ride.

Hearing Cole talk about Starrcade's rich history is one thing, but having those who announced the original series of shows years ago do it just feeds that historic atmosphere WWE should want to create. If nothing else, it also means more Jim Ross on television, and that's never a bad thing.
