10 Things WWE Must Do To Ensure WrestleMania 33 Doesn't Suck

1. Use The Undertaker To Turn Reigns Heel

WWE have been shy of hinting towards their plans for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 lately, but Roman Reigns looks like the likeliest opponent. Unless the company choose to extend Reigns’ feud with Strowman into April, Roman will have nothing to do at the Showcase of the Immortals, and a man of Taker’s stature demands a high-level opponent for what will likely be one of the last matches of his legendary career.

It’s a tricky match to book, however. Booking a babyface Reigns to go over The Undertaker clean as a whistle would be catastrophic, and Roman would be booed out of the building. Similarly, having 'Taker defeat Reigns via pinfall or submission would do nothing for his career at this point, and serve no real purpose in the grand scheme.

Instead, WWE should use this opportunity to finally pull the trigger on Reigns’ heel turn. Roman’s expression was one of pure malevolence after eliminating The Deadman from the Rumble, and while his turn is far from guaranteed, it has never looked more likely

An ideal finish would see Reigns going “too far” with Taker, getting himself disqualified, but continuing the assault after the bell. Taker would technically win, thus protecting his record, and what better way for Reigns to score immense crowd heat than by assault WrestleMania’s most important competitor on the show itself? It’s almost too perfect.
