10 Things WWE Need To Stop Doing Right Now

9. Triumphalism Over WCW Victory

Vince McMahon purchased World Championship Wrestling way back in March, 2001. By September, 2015, it means that major moment in wrestling history occurred almost 15 years ago. Even so, World Wrestling Entertainment still has a chip on their shoulder when it comes to WCW, and it shows any single time Sting is on screen now. The man was a cornerstone of WCW, that's true, but he's now a WWE employee. Therefore, it makes zero sense when Triple H is claiming he's going to bury the last star WCW has to offer. That promotion is dead, WWE own the remnants, and now - finally - have one of their most recognisable names under contract. Thus, any Sting feud in WWE has little to do with WCW at this point. WWE really need to get over the whole 'Monday Night Wars' thing. Yes, WCW ran them close and actually dominated them for a while, but Vince McMahon's organisation won when he bought his competition. That day should have marked a shift in perception from WWE towards WCW, but it didn't, and the group still suffers from the same triumphalist paranoia as before.
