10 Things WWE Needs To Bring Back
5. Championship Scramble
For those unaware, the championship scramble consists of two wrestlers starting in the ring, and every five minutes another wrestler joins. After all entrants were in the match, the last person to score a pinfall within five minutes was crowned the champion. Basically, think of a gauntlet match if wrestlers kept being added instead of replaced.
While the match may be a bit wild and all over the place, that's not always such a bad thing. In fact, the WWE Championship Scramble match from Unforgiven 2008 holds quite a bit of entertainment value. While that's partially due to Brian Kendrick technically having been WWE Champion for a few minutes, it's also because the match was chaotic and unpredictable, especially in the last five minutes.
Maybe the structure could be changed up a bit to focus more on the ending of the match by having more wrestlers in the match coming in at a more frequent pace before giving a nice ten minute timer at the end instead. This wouldn't only revive a decent concept, but breath new life into it's revamp.
Plus, c'mon, we need more Brian Kendrick WWE Championship reigns.
