10 Things WWE Regrets About WrestleMania

7. Some Of The Questionable Streak Moments

There will never be another winning run in WWE like The Undertaker's.

When Michael Hayes (according to Bruce Prichard's podcast) suddenly realised that 'Taker had quite the streak going on the event, money was made. From that point on, WWE used the thought of The Undertaker losing at 'Mania as a major selling point for each show. That's not to say there weren't some bumps along the way.

As impressive sounding as 21-0 was before Brock Lesnar made it 21-1 in 2014, the truth is that 'Taker had some absolute stinkers before high quality became the law. His earliest matches maybe get a pass because they were undercard fillers designed to sell his zombie-like gimmick, but some in the middle don't have that luxury.

The Giant González, King Kong Bundy, A-Train and Big Show and Mark Henry were all poor opponents for the much-heralded streak. If WWE had cottoned on to The Undertaker's run earlier, there's a fair chance they might've booked him against better opponents.
