10 Things WWE Regrets About WrestleMania

6. Ending The Undertaker's Streak When They Did

Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest stars to come WWE's way over the past 20 years, that's without question. If anything, his departure in 2004 and subsequent UFC success only made him a bigger deal when he returned 'home' in 2012, and the MMA beatdowns Brock has delivered on pay-per-view since have set him apart from everyone else on the roster.

Should he have ended The Undertaker's streak though? Nah.

That winning run still had juice in it when WWE called time. Admittedly, the man writing this has flip-flopped on the merits of Lesnar ending it at 'Mania XXX before; there's no use arguing that Paul Heyman hasn't squeezed mileage out of 'The Conqueror' gimmick, or that Brock's stock didn't rise after shocking the world.

Still, surely it was in WWE's best interests to prolong the sanctity of that streak for as long as possible, or to ensure 'Taker didn't taste defeat on their grandest stage until it was obvious he had nothing left to give each year. Every match he's had since has had less aura because of XXX's result.
