10 Things WWE Did Right At SummerSlam

It was a night full of heel domination as three new champions were crowned.

The 2014 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view is in the books and it was an eventful show. There's a new WWE Champion in "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar, who decimated John Cena to capture the gold. It was one of those matches where there was no doubt about who the better man was. If you saw it you won't forget it. If you missed it then you need to check it out. In addition to the big WWE Title change, there were also two other titles that changed hand a twin sister that sided with the Authority as Stephanie McMahon beat Brie Bella in one of SummerSlam's biggest matches. SummerSlam wasn't a show that had a match of the year contender like last year's event that had two of them (Cena/Bryan and Lesnar/Punk). It was just a solid wrestling PPV from top to bottom. Most matches were given between 8-17 minutes and because of that they didn't feel rushed or like a letdown. Nothing was that bad. When you can say that then you can leave a show satisfied with what happened. This will be a look at everything that WWE did right at SummerSlam. It was an above average PPV that was second only to WrestleMania in terms of quality in this writer's opinion. This is about the PPV portion of the broadcast, so the RVD win over Cesaro on the Kickoff Show will be omitted because quite frankly we're tired of watching Cesaro lose as much as he has Here's a look at ten of the things that WWE did right at SummerSlam 2014 from Los Angeles.
