3. Stephanie McMahon Impresses While The Bella Twins Split

The Stephanie McMahon/Brie Bella match had the most screen time of any feud heading into SummerSlam. They headlined Raw with promo segments during two of the last three weeks and then they were give the full video package treatment at SummerSlam too. It was built up as a really big deal. To their credit, Stephanie and Brie put on an entertaining match. Stephanie was particularly impressive considering she hasn't wrestled in 10 years. She also gave birth to three daughters in those ten years. There aren't a lot of women that can say they've wrestled a big match after doing that. Her outfit was pretty cool too. While she won't confuse anybody as the best technical wrestler that there is, she did look credible enough. Brie continues to play the role as a dumb babyface. On Raw her husband was accused of cheating on her and at no point did she say it was a lie even though it obviously was. Then at SummerSlam when it looked like Brie had finally trapped Stephanie with Brie's twin sister Nikki by her side, Nikki nailed Brie with a forearm. Stephanie hit Brie with a Pedigree for the cheap win. The good thing about Brie feuding with Nikki now is at least we can tell them apart. Since Nikki has changed her look (especially in the upper body) in the last few years it's not going to be an issue when they feud. A few years ago it would have been. One final note about Stephanie. After her win, she greeted her three daughters at ringside. WWE has been hesitant to put Stephanie and Hunter's kids on camera during a show before. Perhaps it was a mistake to show them, but they were there.
