10 Things WWE Still Needs To Do Before Summerslam

Should Daniel Bryan be at ringside for his wife at SummerSlam? Yes! Yes!

This year's WWE SummerSlam event is almost here. With this week's Smackdown already taped, we only have one more episode of Raw and Smackdown before the big event takes place in August 17. The build for the show has been good in the sense that they have eight matches announced, but Raw was definitely below average this week. There were so many segments that left us scratching our head like why a segment promoting the Ziggler/Miz segment was so rushed yet the likes of Fandango was out there dancing with Hornswoggle, who ended up turning on him. A match at a PPV should matter more than We have also seen three weeks in a row of Raw where there haven't been any matches on last. We got a promo from Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar three weeks, then the setup for Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella two weeks ago, which was followed by a Stephanie/Brie contract signing this week. It's been a weird month. Next week's Raw is going to be big because they will have to do a better job of selling the PPV without annoying us by mentioning the $9.99 WWE Network price 41 times on Raw this week. With Hulk Hogan in the building for his birthday celebration, perhaps it will be an entertaining broadcast. With all of that in mind, there are several things that WWE needs to do in order to make the fans care about SummerSlam more. Every feud will be touched on below except AJ Lee vs. Paige because the build for that has been really well and they don't really need to do more to get us ready for it. Other feuds need some help, though, so we're going to focus on those. Here's a look at WWE should consider doing next week in the build up to SummerSlam.
