The number one thing that WWE wants us to forget about Del Rio is why he got fired. WWE didn't give a proper explanation for his dismissal, simply saying on WWE.com that he was fired for 'unprofessional conduct'. They didn't even wish him the best in his future endeavours... The story is that Del Rio slapped a WWE.com employee at a raw taping when that guy made a racist joke. There are variations on the story, but apparently this employee was told to clean his plate in catering and he made a joke that Del Rio should do it (since he was Mexican). When word got back to Del Rio, he ordered an apology and when one was not forthcoming, he slapped the taste out of the guy's mouth. Wrestlers should not be striking other employees like that, and it was unprofessional by Del Rio. Saying that, the employee should have also been fired for his racist remarks, since that is 'unprofessional conduct', too. Either way, the past is the past and Del Rio is now back with WWE.
