10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Batista
9. He Starred In "Wrong Side Of Town" Film With Rob Van Dam
The acting world is similar to wrestling in that you have to pay your dues before you have that big break. Batista's big break will likely come this summer in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film on August 1 in the role of Drax The Destroyer.
Prior to his breakout in Guardians of the Galaxy, he was in some direct to video stinkers as well. He starred in a film called "House of the Rising Sun" and he was also in The "Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption." None of them were considered hits to say the least.
Another film he starred in was called "Wrong Side of Town" that also featured current WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam and rapper Ja Rule. Here's a synopsis of the film: "In order to save his kidnapped daughter, an ex-Marine is forced to take on a gang of killers when an accident leaves the brother of a malicious criminal dead." It received a 3.9 rating on IMDB.com, so it's safe to say it wasn't a hit.

If you're looking for a review of the film, you've come to the wrong place. I haven't seen it. You probably haven't seen it either. Not many have. That's why WWE doesn't want you to know about it. They're happy to mention Guardians of the Galaxy even though they have no money invested in it, but they tend to avoid mentioning the smaller indie films.
