10. His Daughter Athena Was In A Sex Tape Scandal
Batista has reportedly been married twice. He has two daughters from his first marriage and two grandkids from his oldest daughter Keilani. In December 2010, his second daughter Athena was involved in a sex tape scandal when she was just 18 years old. The news of the sex tape became the talk of the WWE locker room when it became public knowledge. The guy in the video with her is Justin Miller, who was apparently her boyfriend at the time.
In March of 2011, WorldStarHipHop.com posted a video of Athena as members of paparazzi asked her questions about the sex tape. They asked what her father thought about what happened to which she replied by telling them to ask him. At one point she told a cameraman to "get that camera out of my f**king face."
In a December 2010 interview, Athena mentioned that her relationship with her father wasn't strong: "My relationship with my father is pretty much nonexistent I am assuming by his choice. I felt like I always made an effort that wasnt acknowledged by him."
While there are no photos publicly of Batista with Athena, when he released a video fighting against cancer in August 2010 he had a sign on it that said: "My Daughter Athena Like Totally Hates Cancer." That was a few months before her sex tape was released.
The video is likely on the internet elsewhere although we will not be providing any links to it. To Batista's credit, he never publicly acknowledged or spoke about the incident and there have been no other scandals with his daughter since then. When you're in the public eye like he is people are always going to want more info about you and your loved ones, so it must have been a very difficult time for his family.
