10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Big Show

3. His 2013 Feud With Triple H Was Completely Dropped

The storyline involving Big Show going up against Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton in the second half of 2013 was brutal. Show was working as a heel for a most part, but then he turned babyface without ever really doing anything to be a good guy again. They did all kinds of stupid things with him from suspending him to claiming that he didn't have any money left, so we were left watching him cry in the ring week after week. He was booked to be Daniel Bryan's buddy that ended up knocking him out a bunch of times because he was forced to. It was just so stupid. For some reason WWE thought it would be a good idea to book Orton vs. Show as the main event of Survivor Series. Bad match. Nobody cared. Show's one of the oldest guys on the roster and the biggest. He was not a sympathetic character in the feud. During the whole thing, we kept on reading how there was supposed to be a big payoff to the angle with Show facing off against Triple H likely at the 2014 Royal Rumble. It didn't happen. After the feud with Orton flopped so much, they completely abandoned the planned Show/Triple H match and Big Show went back to being a nobody again. They wasted so much TV time on this feud and storyline, yet they never went through with a payoff. It was a colossal waste of time.
