5. He Has A Restraining Order Against His Mother

It's not often that somebody files a restraining order against their own mother, but that's what CM Punk did in 2013. TMZ reported on the story claiming that Punk obtained a restraining order against his estranged mother. He claimed that she constantly hit him up for money and then threatened to kill herself if he didn't come through. The TMZ story included this email that Punk shared that was from his mother: "You don't give a s**t about us. You just care about your money and money hungry/fame hungry friends. You would sell us for a nickel." In the documents filed, Punk requested for it to stop: ""I wish for the harassment to stop and am requesting the assistance of the court in this regards." The judge agreed and the restraining order is good for two years. It must be very difficult to go through life having those kinds of difficulties with a family member. He spoke about how he didn't grow up wit ha great family life, but that's also something that made him stronger as a person too. When you don't have hose people in your life that you can really count on some people crumble and fall. Punk was able to succeed in spite of those issues he was dealing with. They never really mentioned his mother in WWE storylines. In 2012, Chris Jericho tried to get heat by saying Punk's dad was an alcoholic. That's about as far as they've ever gone in terms of talking about Punk's personal life.
