10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Goldust

10. He Was Part Of The Plane Ride From Hell

Wwe Plane The infamous WWE "Plane Ride From Hell" was a flight that contained several WWE superstars and management. It took place on May 5, 2002 when WWE was flying back to the US after a tour in England. For whatever reason, all hell started to break loose on the plane. Brock Lesnar and Curt Hennig got into a tussle in the aisle for fun, which saw them smash into the emergency exit door. Ric Flair walked around with his robe on with nothing on underneath. Guys were doing drugs. Haircuts were being done to guys that were asleep. Goldust was on the plane too. The story goes that Dustin started serenading his ex-wife Terri, who was a WWE diva that started with him when she was Marlena. They were married from 1993 to 1999 and had a daughter together. Apparently, Dustin was liquored up and started singing on the PA system on the plane so everybody could hear it. He had to be told to stop by Jim Ross, who was the VP of Talent Relations at the time. It was a very embarrassing situation. Dustin wasn't fired or suspended for it, but he did make a fool of himself in front of WWE executives.
