10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jeff Hardy

8. He Was "Keith Davis" Against Razor Ramon When He Was 16

http://youtu.be/PriSho0xq0o Keith Davis? That's what Vince McMahon called Hardy on commentary during the Raw broadcast on June 6, 1994. It was at a Raw taping in Youngstown, Ohio. Hardy was working for WWE once in a while along with his brother Matt. They were there to put over other wrestlers because they were a couple of young guys that were small. They were good enough that WWE felt comfortable with them in the ring. Ramon won the match easily. The other interesting tidbit about that match is that Hardy was only 16 years old. How was he allowed to wrestle at such a young age? It's because Ramon's original opponent wasn't able to compete that night and they needed an unidentifiable jobber to take his place to put over Ramon. It's unlikely that we're ever going to see a 16 year old wrestling in a WWE ring ever again. Wrestlers have to be at least 18 years old. Putting a minor in there is a huge risk and it's not something WWE would ever want to do again. Hardy's had a great career, but WWE really doesn't want people to know they put a 16 year old kid in the ring like that. That was very unprofessional of them.
