10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About John Bradshaw Layfield

8. He Was Part Of One Of The Worst Raw Matches Ever

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3wGawvW7iM It's the match that a lot of fans remember as one of the worst in the history of WWE and Raw. The match took place on July 8, 2002 with Bradshaw teaming up with Trish Stratus as a babyface tag team against Chris Nowinski and Jackie Gayda. The match had some of the worst mistakes in a match in WWE history. Gayda shouldn't have been in the ring on a live wresting show. She couldn't even take a clothesline the right way. When she tried to do a move by the ropes with Stratus, Gayda didn't grab her and Stratus ended up looking like a fool that just jumped into the ropes on her own. The guys should have just brought it home, but after they did their spots they brought the girls back in. Big mistake. The guys ended up leaving the ringside area when Bradshaw chased Nowitzki away, which was something the viewers wish they could have done. Trish went for a bulldog finish off the ropes, but Jackie didn't sell it at all. She just fell down face first. It was best summarized by Jim Ross on commentary: "That match had some bowling shoe tendencies." It's a polite way of saying that it was terrible. The match didn't suck because of Bradshaw, but his involvement in it is definitely something WWE wants you to forget. It's so bad that it looks like WWE has done an amazing job of deleting it from Youtube and other online video sites too. It's hard to find. Trust me on that.
