10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Kane

7. The Obsession With Pete Rose

Pete Rose is one of the best baseball players in the history of the sport. The only reason he's not in the Baseball Hall of Fame is because he bet on the game when he was managing the Cincinnati Reds. Rose denied it for many years until he wrote a book and admitted to it, because if you're going to admit it you might as well cash-in while doing so. Pete Rose was a guest at WrestleMania XIV. He was in the ring ripping the fans of Boston when Kane made his entrance and gave 'Charlie Hustle' a Tombstone in the middle of the ring. A year later at WrestleMania XV, Rose attacked Kane while he was wearing the disguise of a San Diego chicken costume. Kane tombstoned him. Again. The year after that at WrestleMania 2000, it was another cheap attack by Rose with a baseball bat, but once again Kane stopped that and gave him a chokeslam. Adding insult to injury, Kane dragged Rose to the corner where his tag team partner for the evening, Rikishi, gave him a stinkface. Hey, you can't say that Rose didn't earn that WWE Hall of Fame induction. Why does Kane have an obsession with Pete Rose? Nobody's really sure. It's pretty funny and harmless when you look back on all of the incidents, but it is also rather ridiculous, too.
