3. He Had Major Heat For Failing To Catch R-Truth Outside The Ring
http://youtu.be/0VZsXq_FUdM The Miz hasn't been a guy that has gotten a lot of backstage heat in his career. He usually does his job to the best of his abilities, doesn't ruffle any feathers and generally well liked by people within WWE. However, there was one incident that got him in trouble. During a Raw match prior to the 2012 Elimination Chamber PPV, The Miz and R-Truth were two of the guys competing in a six man match to determine the final participant in the match. Truth gave Miz a clothesline over the top rope. With Miz outside the ring, Truth did a somersault dive where he was supposed to land on Miz. It's something we see all the time where the guy on the floor basically catches the other guy and sells it like it was a painful move. For whatever reason, Miz stepped to the right and when Truth did his flip, Miz didn't catch him. Instead, Truth ended up crashing hard right on his back and he hit his head on the floor. Following the show, there were reports that Miz received major heat for not catching Truth like he was supposed to. Truth was taken backstage because they feared he had a major injury. Apparently he was okay, but Miz was still in trouble over it. There were also reports that Triple H yelled at Miz about it backstage in front of others because he did a poor job of taking care of Truth during that attack outside the ring.
