10. He Really Doesn't Have Many Moves Off The Top Rope
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaGvObIX-0s Some critics of Flair will say that if you've seen one Flair match you've seen them all. That's because he does a lot of the same bumps during his matches and that was true of his work for the majority of his 30+ year career. One of the most famous Flair bumps is the one that he does after he slowly climbs to the top rope. His climb is usually slow because he wasn't the quickest guy in a ring. It was also slow because he had to wait for his opponent to get in the right spot. You would think that right spot would be a certain place on the mat, but in this case that spot is right under Flair. With Flair perched up in the corner, the opponent usually grabbed him and slammed him off the top rope onto the floor. A lot of times Flair would take the bump on his side because of a serious back injury he suffered during a plane crash in 1975, but it always looked the same every time.
There were times in his career where he actually hit a move like the cross body block at WrestleMania 24, but it probably happened in about 1% of his matches or maybe even less than that. If he did hit a move it was usually a double axe handle or a chop. He wasn't really skilled enough to do anything more off the top.
