9. He Once Lost To Rico On Raw

Rico was not a very successful wrestler during his run in WWE, so for him to beat somebody of Flair's stature in a match was a significant thing. It wasn't necessarily a clean win because Flair had his hand on the bottom rope, which was missed by referee Charles Robinson. It was part of an angle they were doing to show that Flair was having a lot of bad luck and he was really starting to show his age. Eventually he would "find himself" as he started associating with Triple H soon after. A lot of people were complaining about the booking even though it wasn't clean. It was the significance of the loss that pissed off a lot of fans because Rico was barely on the roster and he certainly didn't have a lot of credibility. Flair eventually bounced back from it and other embarrassing moments he had in WWE, but it was still weird to see one of the most decorated champions ever lose to Rico of all people.
