10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Survivor Series

7. The "Boring" And "Daniel Bryan" Chants During 2013 Main Event

If you're getting bored by WWE's product today that's okay, but if you remember last year it wasn't that great either. The main event of Survivor Series should have featured somebody like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk, who were clearly the top two babyfaces in the company. Those two were in a tag against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Even John Cena would have been okay. Instead, the babyface challenger to the WWE Title held by Randy Orton was Big Show. Show "earned" the WWE Title match by being part of a storyline with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon exposing the fact that he was broke, which was ridiculous. Most weeks that meant Show was crying on television like the biggest baby on Earth. He didn't really earn the title match or do anything to deserve it. During the match, fans were heard cheering "Daniel Bryan" several times and also "boring" was heard. You really don't hear those chants often for WWE Title matches of what is supposed to be a big PPV. They had a short match for a PPV main event since it only went 12 minutes, but at least keeping it short was a good idea. There were reports that Show was going to have a feud with Triple H after the match. Instead, the angle was completely dropped. At least they listened to the fans that time.
