10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Triple H

10. The Entire Run As "Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1Fo_JhPhjY When Triple H debuted in WWE, he did so as Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The character was a rich snob from Greenwich, Connecticut based off the name he used in WCW Jean-Paul Levesque, who was supposed to be more of a French guy. Since his real name is Paul Levesque, they decided to add the "Jean-Paul" part to make it sound even more French. His debut promos in WWE told us about how to act a certain way. The character was full of arrogance that was based around the idea that he thought he was better than everybody else. It was definitely an unlikable character, but clearly not a main event level type of gimmick. It's a good thing it didn't last that long. When it came to his attire, he looked pretty silly. The music was even arrogant too. He also stuck his nose up in the air when he walked a lot, which was easy for him because he has a big nose. One of the better things about the gimmick was that when they figured out it was just too boring on his own, they had women accompany him to the ring. The thinking was that if he had a pretty woman walking to the ring with him it may make people hate him more. As most fans probably know, one of his valets was Sable, the wife of Marc Mero. That's how she made her debut in WWE.
