10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Triple H

9. That He Once Broke Into Randy Orton's House And Had A Ridiculous Fight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR3z3dU1APw The Triple H/Randy Orton feud in 2009 was just another chapter in their long rivalry that started all the way back in 2004 when Evolution was falling apart. Five years later, they were still feuding. This time they made the feud very personal with Orton attacking members of Triple H's family, or at least extended family. He went after Stephanie, Vince and Shane at various points. Basically, they tried to make the feud as personal as possible. On the March 9th edition of Raw, Hunter broke into the "house" of Randy Orton as he was inside it with his wife Samantha that was really just an actress. Orton has since divorced her, by the way. Hunter ended up breaking in using his trusty sledgehammer because really, who doesn't carry around a sledgehammer when they're breaking into a house? Hunter threatened Orton's wife, threw a phone away when she tried to call the cops and threatened other people who just happened to be in the house. At least he didn't harm the camera people, right? This was during the time period where WWE was all about making movies and trying to convince everybody that they have great writing like dramatic TV shows. The problem is, dramatic TV shows don't have moments like when Orton was sent through a window and there just happened to be a camera right there to show the other angle of it. The whole thing ended after Orton was thrown outside on the lawn and Hunter was beating him up. Cops showed up. Then it ended. Then Hunter was back on Raw wrestling one week later. Did this ridiculously over the top storyline work? They main evented WrestleMania with Triple H retaining the WWE Title against Orton in a match that is most remembered as the one that shouldn't have gone on last after that amazing Undertaker/Michaels match.
