10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Undertaker

9. One Of His WrestleMania "Streak" Wins Was Only By DQ

The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak is one of the most well known aspects of his character. It's also one of the popular things in the entire WWE. Fans talk about The Streak as if it's more important than any championship because to a lot of them it is. The Streak is at 21-0 right now and with WrestleMania looming, fans are wondering who is next. All of Undertaker's WrestleMania wins were decisive in that they were won by pinfall, submission or by playing an opponent in a casket. All of them except one. Undertaker's win over Giant Gonzalez at WrestleMania 9 was the worst WrestleMania match he's had. It's not really Undertaker's fault. Gonzalez was a very poor worker that was only out there because he was a big guy that was intimidating to look at. He lacked mobility, he wasn't very strong and he was obviously not that talented either. How did the match end? By chloroform. Undertaker won because Gonzalez tried to choke him out with a towel that had chloroform on it. This is why when you see WWE talk about Undertaker's great matches at WrestleMania they rarely bring up that one of those matches ended up like this. It's the worst one of the bunch and a low point in Undertaker's career.
