10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About 2019

4. WrestleMania's Main Event Was Botched

Who knows if women will ever get the chance to headline WrestleMania again or if this was some one-off display of tokenism from Vince McMahon. Nobody can deny that Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey deserved the opportunity, nor that their feud was the hottest heading into April's show.

Anyone hoping that the threesome would take Vince's softball and smack it into orbit must've been tearing their hair out when some miscommunication and a botch by referee Rod Zapata left the finish feeling rather hollow. All that hard work went to pot when Rousey popped a shoulder off the mat and the official counted to three anyway.

Oops.

The biggest match on the largest card of the year had fallen victim to error. Don't expect to see WWE acknowledge this whenever they inevitably look back on the first ever (a phrase this promotion dearly loves) female main event in the future.
