WWE wants to be the babyface promotion under Triple H who, as evidenced by his NXT run, values the changing trends of the fandom and tends not to treat his public like complete sh*t.

He knew instantly that if he was to simply have his talents say the word "wrestling" on WWE television that the fans would pop. He knew that bringing back "his" guys would distinguish him from Vince as the classier fellow of the two. He's very savvy politically. He's a better politician than a booker in fact.

Still, WWE is the heel promotion. Weirdly, the guy who studied under Vince for decades, befriended him, married into his family, and told you to suck his c*ck in blackface isn't the babyface saviour of rasslin'.

Per Fightful Select, during a talent meeting held prior to AEW Dynamite on August 24, it was revealed that Chief of Legal Megha Parekh had emailed Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon warning both not to tamper with AEW's talent. The ever-candid Chris Jericho alluded on Twitter that he was the recipient of this snaky behaviour.

Is it imperative that WWE operate with or pretend to operate with a moral compass?
