The internet is an extremely strange place, and Twitter is a particularly unusual part of it.

WWE performers are encouraged to be active on social media, and as one would expect this comes with varying results. Some, such as Kevin Owens, have got the social media thing down to a fine art.

Others, well, not so good.

Twitter has also played host to a number of online feuds over the years, and 2015's strangest saw Zack Ryder and Adam Rose go back and forth over who looked older.

Somehow, this war of words that served no purpose managed to drag none other than William Shatner and Dennis Haskins into its whirling pool of irrelevance.

In amongst it all, Rose tweeted that he was still convinced that Shatner was his dad. Of course, it was most likely just the gushing words of a guy who watched Shatner on his screen as a child, but still, William Shatner as Adam Rose's father is weird.
