10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Adam Rose

4. BEEF MODE

With the Adam Rose gimmick floundering, Rose set about attempting to make changes on WWE live events. These events are of huge value to the talent in World Wrestling Entertainment, as new ideas can be tested out in front of a live audience to get a good gauge on how things may get over in future.

Another floundering talent at this time was none other than Brad Maddox, former crooked referee and General Manager of RAW. Rose and Maddox put together a team for a few live shows, going under the frankly fantastic name of 'Beef Mode'.

It may or may not have been a play on Brie Bella's BRIE MOOOODE!!!!!!, but the idea was that the two of them were in incredible shape and the WWE Universe was not. Not a new idea, but Maddox was entertaining enough to make it work and Rose would have added his own twist on the concept.

It never progressed, however, as Maddox was released from the company in November 2015.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
