10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Alicia Fox

5. The 'Psycho Girlfriend' Gimmick Failed

For evidence of an angle the writers didn't have much faith in, look no further than her 'psycho girlfriend' run in 2016-2017.

At first, the whole thing was cookie cutter valet stuff. Fox appeared as Cedric Alexander's new kayfabe lady friend and looked on proudly as her Cruiserweight hunk beat all comers. From there, that cheeky Scottish scamp Noam Dar got involved, and his interference broke Alicia off from Alexander and meant she stood in his corner instead.

It didn't take long before Dar was doing his best to ignore Alicia's calls or keep her from "helping" his efforts on Raw and 205 Live. The insinuation was clear: she was a psychotic, jealous bitch who had a warped desire to get back at Cedric by aiding Dar. The only problem was that she didn't, thus rendering her character pointless.

The whole escapade fizzled out by summer and left Fox in limbo yet again. WWE wouldn't like to admit it, but their attempts to turn Alicia into the 'Crazy Bitch' Buckcherry were singing about was flawed and didn't have a satisfying end.
